Herbert
L. Segal returned to Kentucky to practice law after
he served in
World War II and received his law degree from the University
of Virginia Law School.
In
addition to founding the firm, Mr. Segal also served as an
attorney for the Louisville Legal Aid Society, a field examiner
for the National Labor Relations Board, a member of the Kentucky
Workers’ Compensation Board, chairman
of the American Bar Association’s Labor Law Section, a lecturer
at numerous law schools throughout the United States, including the
University of Louisville, the University of Colorado, University
of Tennessee, and Pepperdine University.
Mr.
Segal has written numerous articles on labor law and is the author
of the book “Your
Job Rights.”

Robert
M. Lindsay

Robert
M. Lindsay is a 1959 graduate of Trinity High School.
He received a B.A. at the University of Louisville in 1963 and
a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Louisville Law School
in 1966. He has been a frequent lecturer at the University of Louisville
and the University of Kentucky law schools on workers compensation.
He is on the Board of Directors of Comp Ed Inc., a continuing education
entity and recently was appointed as a director to Kentucky Workplace
Injury and Advocacy Group.
Mr. Lindsay’s practice
includes Workers’ Compensation
claims and personal injury and social security disability. Since its
inception, Mr. Lindsay has been listed in the annual publication of “ The
Best Lawyers in America.”
Mr. Lindsay
has been selected for the past several years as one of the
outstanding Workers Compensation Lawyers in the United States.
He was recently selected as one of the top 200 Workers Compensation
lawyers in Louisville by "Louisville Magazine".

Dennis
F.
Janes

Dennis
Janes graduated from the University
of Louisville in 1974 and was awarded a Bachelor of Arts with Honors
in psychology. He was selected for membership in the Woodcock Society
and the Phi Kappa Phi national honorary society in recognition
of his outstanding scholarship.
Mr. Janes has been working as an
attorney for the law firm since his graduation from the University
of Louisville School of Law in 1977. He is actively engaged in
the practice of civil law throughout Kentucky, and has broad experience
in the fields of labor and employment, education, bankruptcy, contracts,
civil rights, and wills and estates. Mr. Janes often represents labor
unions and their members. Many state and local government employees
regularly consult with Mr. Janes on issues related to their employment.
He represents his clients in court, administrative proceedings,
arbitration hearings, negotiations, and appeals.
Mr. Janes has represented his clients'
interests in all of the state and federal courts in Kentucky.
He has argued numerous appeals before the Kentucky Supreme
Court, the Kentucky Court of Appeals, and the United States
Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
Dennis has also lectured on a variety of legal issues at
several universities and professional organizations, including
the University of Louisville's Louis D. Brandeis School of
Law, the University of Kentucky's Center for Labor Education
and Research, the Kentucky Bar Association, and the Louisville
Bar Association.

David
O'Brien Suetholz

David
Suetholz spent six months studying
Spanish in Bolivia before joining the firm in 2004.
His practice includes all aspects of worker/Union side labor, employment
and discrimination law, unemployment compensation and immigration law.
He also defends Unions in various civil contexts.
Mr.
Suetholz
received his Juris Doctorate from Notre Dame Law School where
he worked as a student intern representing indigent clients
in both the Notre Dame Legal Aid Clinic and Immigration Clinic.
Mr.
Suetholz attended Villanova University and received a Bachelor
of Arts in History and Theology. He also was the recipient
of the Thomas Merton/Dorothy Day Award for the class of 2000.
He decided to serve working people and their families after
completing a clerkship with the United Mineworkers of America.
A
native of Northern Kentucky, Mr.
Suetholz currently resides in Henry
County.
Mr.
Suetholz currently serves on the Board of Directors for Catholic Charities
for the Archdiocese of Louisville. He regularly devotes time
to volunteering with the immigration services of Catholic Charities. BACK

Joseph
D. Wibbels, Jr.

Joseph
Wibbels joined the firm in February,
2006.
He graduated Phi Beta Kappa
from Centre College in 1990, majoring in English and political
science. In 1996, Mr. Wibbels earned his law degree from the
Illinois Institute of Technology Chicago-Kent College of Law.
During his law studies, he also served as a teaching assistant and
as a member of the Chicago-Kent Law Review. Following graduation,
Mr. Wibbels served as a law clerk to U.S. Magistrate Judge Peggy
Patterson. He also worked as a Legal Research Associate for Lexis-Nexis.
Mr. Wibbels has been a member of the Kentucky bar since 1996.

Angie
Burns

Angie
Burns is
a paralegal for the firm's Worker's Compensation Division where
she assists in the handling of a variety of claims.
Ms.
Burns is a 1994 Sullivan University Graduate with an Associates
Degree in Paralegal Studies. She brings over ten years of legal
experience to the firm.
